after another great johnson work weekend we got most of the painting finished and all of the cupboards installed! the house is beginning to feel more and more like ours...and this will be the first place that we move into together that will be ours. previously i moved into kevin's apartment and we moved into the Hudson's...it's going to feel great to have a place of our own.
for those of you who might be up here over christmas camp i'm thinking we'll have a little open house :) we'll keep you posted!

What a nice surprise to get your Christmas card with a picture of your beautiful daughter! Thanks so much for thinking of us. I just updated our blog with our big news. In a nutshell, I officially withdrew the girls from Appletree a few weeks ago and requested our deposits back. I had left our deposits there in the hopes that I'd eventually return to work and the girls could eventually return to Appletree. That won't be happening, as we are moving to Colorado! Elisabeth wasn't too excited at first (when we told her that her new bedroom at our new house could be any color she wanted, she said she wants a BLACK room...) but she is slowly warming up to the idea, and I think we may have even convinced her that learning to ski on the mountains will be fun! :) We wish you and your family a wonderful new year. Thanks again for the Christmas card. Oh, and Elisabeth just said "tell her that I want to say hi to Eli!" :)
